Description
===========

I really like the way one can customize pretty much everything on how Miranda
looks and acts but still I like it simple and original. That is why I created
this package of icons replicating the ones used in the respective applications.
The pack contains a set of status and connecting icons exactly as they appear
in the original applications; and one with unified status overlays from the
modern contact list.

All icons included in this package except for the custom set are extracted and
assembled from the original applications but not artistically created by me.
These icons are copyright of their respective owners. If you redistribute the
package in any way please give me some credit.



Using the connecting icons
==========================

Just copy the connecting icons from the chosen set (e.g. proto_conn_icq.dll in
the custom folder) into your "Miranda IM\Icons" folder usually placed in
"Program Files" on your system hard drive.

NOTE, this will overwrite your currently used connecting icons if any, so make
sure to backup.


Using the status icons
======================

1. Go to Main Menu and select "Options";
2. Go to "Customize" and then "Icons";
3. Select the desired protocol in the "Status Icons" tree;
4. Click "Load icon set" and browse to the corresponding icon library
   (e.g. proto_icq.dll in the modern folder);
5. The icons should show up in the preview pane;
6. Repeat this to set up the other protocols;
7. Accept the changes by clicking the "OK" button.


Using the modern overlays
=========================

1. Go to Main Menu and select "Options";
2. Go to "Customize" and then "Icons";
3. Select "Avatar Overlay" in the "Contact List" tree;
4. Click "Load icon set" and browse to the avatar overlays library;
   (e.g. overlay_modern.dll in the modern folder);
5. The icons should show up in the preview pane;
6. Repeat this to set up the status overlays;
7. Accept the changes by clicking the "OK" button.


Restoring the default icons
===========================

You can always restore any replaced icon to its Miranda default by rightclicking
it and choosing "Reset to Default".
